Cafe Istanbul

Here's a link to a review of a great restaurant in Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. If you ever find yourself at Newport on the Levee (maybe visiting the aquarium?) do yourself a huge favor and stop by this place. Apparently the reviewer at the link provided agrees. Just click the title of this post to get to the link.

Well, if you get to traveling here are some great places I have been to around the country:
Fresh Cream, French food, Monterey CA, $$$$
Taverna Opa, Greek, Fort Lauderdale, FL, $$
Cafe Seviller, Spanish, Miami, FL, $$$
Bashir's Tavern, Mediterranean, Charlottesville, VA. $, has belly-dancing live on Saturday night.
Kotobuki, Sushi/Japanese, Norfolk, VA, $$
Mama Mia's, Italian, Corpus Christi, TX $$

I still really miss Cafe Istanbul. I would kill for some really good turkish food right now. Remember, we ate until we were ill and then we ate some more.

Cool. You must have been keeping track. I remember it well. If you're going to be sick may as well have a little more baklava and really strong coffe! Just an FYI I believe the owners told me once that they owned another restaurant of the same name in Columbus, OH.
